To all our Family & Friends,
We had all intentions of getting Christmas cards out just after Thanksgiving, well as you can guess those still are sitting on my counter to send out. My hope is to have them out by News Years; we’ll see what time permits. So for now this letter will have to do.
Just a few highlights of what is happing in our family.
Jami & Ben: Jami found a great guy and decided she liked spending more time with him than with us (go figure!). They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 7th. We had such a fun day, lots of smiles and tears. Jami works for the State Board of Regents and is trying to take care of Ben and home.
Ben is working for Alta Air and going to SLCC. He was just accepted to take the Air Traffic Control Test by the FAA. He will be headed to California in January. What happens after that will be determined by where the FAA decides to place him. We hope they will be able to stay at the Salt Lake Center.
They are expecting a baby Girl in April. You heard right we are going to be Grandparents! Now if that doesn’t make you feel old. We are all excited about having a baby around again now that the shock is gone.
Jordan: Jordan turned 16 this year. He loves to drive. He plays the Alto Saxophone in the Northridge High School Band. He has a very good ear for music. He wants to learn to play the guitar. Some of his friends have already started teaching him some songs to play. Its fun to listen to him play and pick the music up so fast. He loves his seminary class and is such a great example to all those that know him. He loves to have fun, and he is always happy (except for those teenage mood swings). He’s excited for snow; he loves to go to the slopes for some snowboarding. Did I mention he loves soccer and any chance he gets he will play. He is playing indoor right now. He also started working at Cutlers, taking over Jami’s job.
Makinzie: She is doing well in school and loves to hang out with friends. She is taking a choir class and we love to see her perform. We don’t hear her singing around the house like we did Jami we’re hoping that comes with time. She also is excited for snow, she like Jordan likes to snowboard. She had her first white wash the other day by Jordan. They are good friends and like to tease each other. She is our shopaholic! Everyday she thinks she is going to pass up a good sale, hmm. . . . that’s like her dad!
Marisa: She is in the 6th grade and loves to learn. She has expressed her interest in art. The things she can draw are amazing. She loves to hang out with friends and thinks it needs to be 24/7. She loves to be busy doing anything and especially if it’s outside.
Trevor: He started 1st grade this year and lost 5 teeth in about a month’s time. He brought home some school pictures and I had to laugh, he has a hole in his smile, it was actually kind of cute. He loves to play with his friends and think he is as big as anybody else. He even tried to play hooky from school. I think we are in trouble.
Michelle: Stays busy taking kids to work, school, ortho appts., band & choir concerts, soccer games and to friends houses. Most the time the kids all hang out at our house it can be a bit chaotic at the Moss’ but we like it. Michelle is in the Primary Presidency and loves to be were kids are. She also is a reading tutor at the elementary school where she works just 3 hours a day 5 days a week. She loves to be able to make a difference in the children’s lives.
JR: Still is Bishop. This is a never ending job. He is a great Bishop the members of the ward really like him and he shows he really cares. He loves the youth and is always with them on their activities. His work is going good just keeps him busy, He is such a good dad and husband to us. We love him and are so grateful for the support he gives to our family. He loves to play with the kids, and supports them in all of their many activities.
We hope you are all doing well, and wish you a Very Merry Christmas! May the Lord bless you and your family. We are so thankful for good friends and family and know that we have been greatly blessed to have you in our life.
We love you,
The Moss’

Hello my friends....
I was so excited to see that you have a blog, I can't believe how big your kids have gotten. They are all so cute. We saw Jamie on Halloween at work and she seems so happy. We miss you and we really should get together. Love you, Engor
